As an Activity Assistant , you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by coordinating events, outings, and recreational activities tailored to their interests. Responsibilities Assist with coordinating events, outings, and recreational activities tailored to the interests of residents Collaborate with staff members to ensure activities are integrated into the overall care plan for each resident Maintain accurate records of participation in activities and evaluate their effectiveness in enhancing resident engagement Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners to enhance program offerings Qualifications Experience in long-term care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes is preferred Strong skills in schedule management to effectively coordinate multiple activities simultaneously Knowledge of aging issues, counseling, and the ability to address the unique needs of elderly individuals Excellent event planning skills with a creative approach to engaging residents Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families while demonstrating compassion and understanding Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in program development and implementation About the Role As an Activity Assistant at La Bella, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
